《All the Twists and Turns》 showcases Alex SH Leung’s signature painting style, “Liquefaction” that embodies a unique style incorporating flowing, liquid-like, interlocking lines along with an assortment of diverse patterns. Through rhythmic lines and shades, these artworks depict the delicate balance between societal rules and freedom. The precise lines symbolize the adherence to social norms, while the twisted shapes represent the desire of freedom of expression.

Alex has arranged his artworks in the Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre (vA!), which is housed in a Grade 1 historic building, originally called Cassels Block. vA! is a non-profit arts institution that is an open, multi-directional art space and focuses on art promoting, art learning, research and exchange. Alex aims to show the world in a different angle through his works to the general public. His imaginations connect with objects and surroundings, creating impactful and exciting contrasts while leaving viewer’s mind a space to reflect.
